The CloseFactor team is looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals, passionate about applying advanced technology to solve customer problems. Your responsibilities will include:

Defining Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Graph pipelines and models. Designing end to end pipelines for document information extraction solutions and leveraging semantic parsing, named entity recognition, and relationship extraction.

Tackle real world problems using machine learning algorithms including but not limited to regression, clustering, and natural language processing techniques. Translating these into production code using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

Maintaining customer and company data in production databases and search engines and updating and querying the data to support customer workflows, using Amazon Web Services. Implementing fast, reusable, and testable software to extract information from data collected from disparate sources, building features by various methodologies such as text classification, sentiment analysis, etc., ranking relevant information according to customer sales plays and presenting the results to customers through web application interfaces.

Building a distributed self-learning and self-updating software system that stores collected information in a constantly updating knowledge graph. Working in close collaboration with customers and product users to train and keep up to date Machine Learning / AI system features for existing products. Implementing the latest Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing algorithms to reduce human effort required product offerings through effective labeling, training, and keeping models up to date

  • Required Masters or foreign equivalent in CS, CIS, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field.
  • Requires 1 yr of experience with the same or similar job duties but given another designation.

As the first solution architect at an early stage startup, the Solution Architect is an incredibly impactful role.

The solution architect will work closely with prospects, customers, sales and the product development team to steer our company’s growth.  The ideal candidate will be the expert on both product as well as customer use cases, helping our customers get the most value from CloseFactor. The solution architect will also be the field voice into product development, helping translate top customer issues into product requirements and defining the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

These include owning the customer acquisition, onboarding and expansion process. Pre-sale, the solution architect will build exciting technical demos that solve complex challenges for the customer and will also develop relationships with users to keep the solution relevant to customers’ ongoing strategies. Post-sale, the solution architect will lead the effort for the customers to operationalize our solution into their selling process.

This role will require:

  • Unrivaled sense of ownership, dedication, and passion for helping customers realize their intended value
  • Ability to see the big picture from the customer’s standpoint, and tailor solutions to them
  • Consistent diplomacy and poise while working through customer acquisition and onboarding
  • Ability to learn in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Business acumen coupled with the ability to grasp technical concepts across many different areas of enterprise hardware and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in a customer-facing technical role as a consultant or as SaaS enterprise software sales engineering 
  • Technical proficiency (skill level similar to proficiency in database query language)
  • Ability to explain complex data relationships and technical issues in non-technical terms
  • Technical aptitude with Excel, Python, and data science is highly desirable but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/equivalent is highly desirable
  • Experience with CRM solutions such as Salesforce or Outreach/SalesLoft is a big plus

As the first business hire at an early stage, fast-growing startup that’s doubling in revenue every quarter, you will be expected to think like a strategist and execute like an entrepreneur. Your goal will be to propel growth through customer acquisition, expansions and upsells, while also shaping product prioritization and partnering with engineering. You will inform the future of the CloseFactor platform through product feedback both internal and customer-driven.
Your responsibilities will include driving customer advocacy in the form of references, referrals, and case studies.

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years experience in B2B SaaS Sales roles preferred; particularly in high-velocity sales 
  • Experience with CRM solutions such as Salesforce or Outreach/SalesLoft is a big plus
  • Aptitude for learning software and Go-to-market best practices
  • Ability to explain complex data relationships and technical issues in non-technical terms
  • Technical aptitude with Excel, Python, and data science is highly desirable but not required
  • Must be comfortable learning in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Consistent diplomacy and poise while working through customer acquisition and onboarding
  • Unrivaled sense of ownership, dedication, and passion for helping customers realize their intended value
  • Previous experience selling Hubspot, Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach, or SalesLoft is highly desirable.
  • Verifiable track record of customer acquisition and growth, additional plus-es for driving adoption, engagement, and experience through customer success
